Heather was born and raised mostly in Arizona and has also lived in California and Massachusetts. She has been working in the animal care field since 2006, gaining experience in general practice, working as an aquarist at the zoo, caring for exotic animals, and assisting in surgery. She especially loves caring for all the tiny animals that come into the clinic.

At home, Heather has a bull terrier, a lab/American bulldog mix, and a Quaker parakeet. She is also the proud mother of two amazing teenagers. In her free time, she enjoys painting, playing video games, and working on puzzles.
